Over 20 years since THQ's Evil Dead Pinball mobile phone game, the franchise is finally getting it's first physical pinball machine! Not much is known about this project at this time, though it is an officially licensed game done in collaboration with Renaissance Pictures and StudioCanal, meaning elements from The Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 will be included! Further details to be announced on November 22nd!

There's no official announcement yet on the spooky pinball website so this could just be concept art so far?

I noticed those quotation marks as well. Sounds like they might be using a soundalike actor. The artist named for this pinball machine, Christopher Franchi, has a relatively long history of providing licensed Evil Dead artwork, we were discussing him here 14 years ago although our links seem to be dead now. You can find his artwork online.

If they do, it will be the fourth time in the entire history of the franchise that Bruce didn't play Ash for an officially licensed thing...
Possibly the fifth/sixth time if we include the Spectrum and Commodore 64 Palace Pictures games.

Did those have actual voice lines?

No, but they were licensed though Palace Software. Graham Humphries also did the packaging artwork.

Super cool looking cabinet, and Evil Dead 1 and 2 is the way go since we already know NBC/Universal is a major pain in the ass to deal with when it comes to licensing stuff related to Renaissance Pictures. Case in point Pinball FX from Zen Studios added a digital Xena Warrior Princess pinball game recently, and clearly didn't have the right to some characters such as Julius Caesar who was played by Karl Urban so they decided to go ahead and use generic art for him... but to their credit did use lines from episodes.

Youtube's had some impressive unofficial Evil Dead 1, 2 and Army of Darkness fan made pinball machines videos up for a while now that are interesting to watch if anyone reading wants to look those up.

Universal doesn't own Army of Darkness merchandising rights. MGM does.

LEAKED EMAIL ANNOUNCEMENT CONFIRMS BRUCE WILL BE VOICING ASH:
Evil Dead Collector's Edition $9,999 plus tax and shipping when applicable (Shipping will be calculated when game is ready to ship). Evil Dead Pinball is a wide body pinball machine set in the the world of the first two films of the iconic franchise, The Evil Dead, and Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn. The players will be guided along by Ashley Williams, voiced by Bruce Campbell, as they battle the relentless forces of evil. Ash's now evil girlfriend Linda (voiced by Lara Sluyter) and Professor Knowby (Voiced by Scott Innes) will provide an additional level of Deadite trickery and direction to the game. Evil Dead Pinball is our most ambitious game to date, featuring the highest number of mechs in a Spooky Pinball machine yet. The game also features original clips, speech, and sfx from both films. Evil Dead Pinball is the 4th game by the designer duo "Spooky Luke" and Corwin "Bug" Emery. Many other Spooky crew members have returned for this release, including Ben Heck on the code, Matt Montgomery providing the score, Back Alley Creations, on the sculpts. This is also the first in a series of many Spooky Pinball games featuring a full art package by Christopher Franchi. It's time to officially "Join Us" in what we can confidently say is our most beautiful, most loaded, most impressive world under glass yet!

They own home video/theatrical rights to the movie itself, but they have zero stake in any toys, comics, video games, ect.

It's doesn't get much more cannon than this. Not only have they got Bruce Campbell voicing this game, it's a bit of a historic moment as far as I know in that the people who hold the licence for The Evil Dead and the people who hold the licence for Evil Dead 2 are different companies but have agreed to work together to permit this to happen which is historically rare in the world of Evil Dead films and franchising. Very cool. I'm guessing Ash Vs Evil Dead's use of imagery and themes from both ED1 and ED2 has paved the way for this to happen.
I haven't finished watching this whole video so I'm hoping Tom Sullivan's Book of the Dead design is used in this game and that he's been financially compensated this time if it has.

Dude... during the few times I've occasionally briefly visited the online pinball fan community over the years, my biggest takeaway is that they go absolutely apeshit over high-quality promotional videos and behind the scenes documentaries. It's like a little sub-fandom in the greater pinball fandom.
